Emily Su was born in Taiwan and moved to Los Angeles in 2011. She attended Pasadena City College, and she is currently studying under Robert Ward for her master’s degree at California State University, Los Angeles. She has received five piano awards from PCC and has been awarded the Friends of Music Scholarship from CSU Los Angeles. From 2016-2017, she served as the piano tutor at PCC music department. Her most influential piano teachers have included Robert Ward, Cynthia Williams, Jocelyn Chang, and Philip Young. She also holds a degree in healthcare management. She enjoys an active career as a piano teacher and collaborative pianist.
